Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently sought out and excelled in the most challenging courses available to me. Starting in ninth grade, I embraced honors-level coursework across all subjects. In my sophomore year, I continued this trend by enrolling in honors classes and embarked on my first Advanced Placement course, AP Statistics, which was the initial AP offering in my academic path. Additionally, I explored higher education through dual enrollment at Hennepin Technical College. However, my dedication to rigorous education truly intensified during my junior year, as I pursued a staggering 41 college credits across four different Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) institutions. This immersive experience included mandatory courses at community colleges as well as STEM-focused classes that align with my mechanical engineering major at the University of Minnesota. To date, I have completed courses such as Calculus 1 and 2, General Chemistry 1+2, Organic Chemistry 1, Intro to Internet of Things (IoT) and C++, among others. This academic year, I've eagerly embraced an even more extensive curriculum, encompassing Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Organic Chemistry 2, Physics for Science and Engineering 1 and 2, Statics and Dynamics, and Biochemistry. My dedication to pursuing the most challenging educational opportunities available shows my commitment to personal and academic growth.

FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
During my involvement in FTC robotics, I have had the privilege of serving as the team captain for two years, providing leadership and direction to our dedicated group. Under my guidance, our team achieved remarkable success by advancing to the state championship tournament, a testament to our collective effort and commitment.
In addition to my role as captain, I've honed my skills as the lead code developer for a span of two years. This experience has enabled me to develop a strong proficiency in Java programming, leveraging it to create sophisticated solutions that power our robots. I've also delved into the intricacies of computer vision technologies such as OpenCV and TensorFlow, harnessing their capabilities to enhance our robots' perception and decision-making processes.
One of my significant accomplishments lies in mastering odometry and localization techniques for robots. This skill has proven crucial in ensuring our robots navigate accurately and effectively, contributing to our team's overall success on the field.
My journey in FTC robotics has been a rewarding exploration of leadership, coding expertise, and engineering innovation. These experiences have not only broadened my technical horizons but have also solidified my passion for robotics and the impact it can have on the world around us.

HOSA Future Health Professionals
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am proud to have founded and led the HOSA-Future Health Professionals chapter at my school, serving as its president for three consecutive years. HOSA is an internationally recognized organization that empowers students who aspire to pursue careers in the health and medical fields. Throughout my tenure, I have guided our chapter in fostering a passion for healthcare and cultivating essential skills. Through engaging activities, workshops, and community initiatives, HOSA has provided me with a platform to develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities. As someone with aspirations of becoming a medical doctor, this experience has been immensely valuable. It has not only deepened my understanding of the healthcare industry but also allowed me to collaborate closely with peers who share similar aspirations. My role as president has enabled me to create an environment where we learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to our school and community, all while laying a foundation that aligns seamlessly with my long-term goals.

ME: 5286 Graduate Robotics Lab, University of Minnesota Twin Cities
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had the privilege of being invited to contribute to the graduate robotics lab, ME: 5286, where my involvement played a significant role in enhancing its operations. Specifically, I was asked to collaborate on writing and implementing neural network and computer vision code. A key focus of my work was to train computers using a variety of GPU and CPU configurations, enabling a detailed comparison of training times. This comparative analysis proved invaluable for guiding the students enrolled in the course during the spring semester. In order to share the insights gained from this process, I documented strategies and best practices that proved effective during training. This compilation of knowledge was then distributed to all incoming grad students, serving as a practical guide to assist them as they embarked on their coursework. Building on my prior experiences in FTC robotics, where I extensively worked with Java, OpenCV, and TensorFlow, I gained further proficiency and applied these skills effectively in this new context.

Biosensing and Biorobotics Laboratory (BSBRL), University of Minnesota Twin Cities
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am thrilled to have been accepted as a research scholar at the Biosensing and Biorobotics Laboratory at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, under the guidance of Professor Suhasa Kodanandaramaiah. In this prestigious lab, I am currently immersed in a cutting-edge project focused on advancing the field of neuroengineering. Specifically, my work revolves around the development of a visuo-servoing robot designed to meticulously track the movement of mice. The project's overarching objective is to delve into the realm of brain activity detection in mice while they exhibit natural behaviors within their normal environment. The intricate experiment involves performing a craniotomy to gain access to the brain, followed by the attachment of a microscope to a passive gantry system. My role is integral in this endeavor as I'm responsible for designing, implementing, and fine-tuning computer vision algorithms that enable the precise tracking of the mice's movement. This dynamic information is then converted into essential odometry data, which guides a CNC-like robot in real-time. By seamlessly combining these technologies, I am contributing to the creation of an innovative and invaluable mechanism that promises to significantly advance our understanding of neurology and behavior.
